I've recently had the pleasure of staying at the Red Dragon, and as a wildlife conservationist and safari guide from Nairobi, I appreciate the balance of value and luxury this place offers. Owners Nina and Alex make you feel genuinely welcome, treating you more like family than guests. The cleanliness of the apartments is commendable, with daily room service ensuring fresh towels and bedding. The location is fantastic-just steps away from the beach, providing easy access to local restaurants. I'd recommend trying the nearby gyro spot; it's a winner! with parking on-site and options for car hire, exploring the surrounding area, including Corfu town, is hassle-free. What stood out most was the thoughtful attention to detail. The apartments are equipped with everything from an electric kettle and flat-screen TV to kitchen utensils for those who fancy some self-catering. With complimentary Wi-Fi, a lovely outdoor dining area, and direct beach access, every day was filled with good experiences. While the Red Dragon may not fit the definition of 'luxury' in a traditional sense, the value you receive for the price tag makes it an excellent choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and authentic retreat. A solid option for travelers looking to blend relaxation with local culture without breaking the bank.
